This is the home page for God's Embrace - Arizona. The mission of God's Embrace is to promote Christian Holiness through prayer, mentoring, and catechesis for the greater glory of God and His Church.

To meet this mission in Arizona and the Southwest United States, God's Embrace continues to provide contemplative and meditative opportunities through retreats and small group formation. By joining Christian disciples as they seek to draw closer to our Trinitarian God, God's Embrace provides the opportunity to enter into intimate communion with God through prayer and formation.

We will bring our three year formation program to the Phoenix area as the Holy Spirit brings seekers to our ministry. This program is "approved and endorsed" by the Graduate Theological Foundation of Mishawaka Indiana, and completion of the God's Embrace three year program satisfies their academic requirements for advanced degrees in ministry.

Dr. Jeffrey Wincel provides the primary formation in Arizona and the Southwest. Living with his wife and family in Paradise Valley, Jeff is active in many ministries including religious education, marriage preparation, lay leader of prayer and communion, and adult formation. Prior to the program suspension, Dr. Wincel had been a candidate in the Permanent Deacon Program in the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Jeff is also president of LSC Consulting Group and an adjunct professor for Grand Valley State University's MBA and undergraduate programs. Jeff holds a Doctorate of Ministry (D.Min) from the Graduate Theological Foundation in South Bend Indiana, an MBA and B.S. from Michigan State University, and a Master's of Arts in Pastoral Studies at Loyola University in Chicago.
